bouncing checks

hmmm... second post. this day is quite exciting. i got a call from an unregistered number telling me that my check does not have enough funds and might bounce. how odd... i just deposited money in it and now the bank claims that i have insufficient funds? how wrong is that? i was later informed that i need to deposit money or else i will get a fine of a thousand bucks... so i rush to the bank and pay for it, only to find out that i was already fined and it was non-refundable... i didnt suffer the embarrassment of a bouncing check (thank god) but i lost cash in the process too. later i trace the root of the problem. my mother. my mother issued a check before she left and didnt replace it. aish... this day cant get any worse than it already is... *crosses fingers*
