today is saturday

Saturday. i was supposed to meet my friend Jazmine and her family, but they had a previous engagement. Jazmine promised to call me that night to give me details on where they would reside while on vacation here in the philippines. at around 5.30 pm, i had to get ready to go to my cousin's house for dinner. i havent seen my cousin kara for a while, so i was looking forward to it. my cousin is ever so fabulous as always. we helped prepare part of the dinner as well. we had steak, prawns, lasagna, garlic bread, mashed potatoes and gravy. we were supposed to bring dessert, but we werent able to agree on it so it meant we didnt have dessert. but from all those mouth-watering dishes we had, i dont think anyone had space for dessert anyway. my youngest bro tells us that kara's house is spooky. well... my cousin is uber loaded... so i guess that would explain why they have such a big place and so much space. i always look forward to these simple dinners we have, for i like seeing Kara (she and i were born in the same year) we get along well i suppose. we have similar likes i guess. she was the one who introduced jrock and kpop to me. after a few hours, it was time to bid them all farewell with the promise we'd go shopping sometime soon. as i got home, i realized that i didnt get Jazmine's call. i wonder what happened...
